Billy Judkins, 84, died Monday, October 28, 2013, at his home in Monticello.
He was born May 23, 1929, in Drew County to the late Marvin and Myrtle Collins Judkins.
He was a Korean War veteran, where he was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star and the Korean Service Medal. He was a retired tractor mechanic, diesel engineer, tomato farmer, member of the American Legion, 5th R.C.T Division and was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Judkins, of Monticello; three brothers, Harold Judkins, Johnny Judkins and Terry Judkins, all of Monticello; two sisters, Geneva Owens, of Monticello, and Betty Marshall, of Crossett; a special brother-in-law, Roger Evans; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
