Caleb Read Satterlee
Caleb Read Satterlee, 24, of Monticello, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Drew County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born January 28, 1989, in Pine Bluff.
He was employed by the Pine Bluff Fire Department, Station One, and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his job and was very dedicated to his fellow firemen and his unit. He was a licensed EMT, an avid hunter and fisherman and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Halbert Satterlee, of Monticello; his parents, Bryant Perry Satterlee and Kristi Lee Kellum Satterlee, of Monticello; his sister, Ellie Tyler Satterlee, of Monticello; two step-brothers, Shaun Perry Satterlee and Hickory Shane Satterlee, both of Warren; and his grandparents, Hot and Jo Kellum and Shelby Williams, all of Monticello.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Zan Pierce and Rev. Mickey Roachell officiating. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery with full firefighter detail.
Active pallbearers were Fabian Fontenot, Josh Suitt, Harold Miller, Keith White, Ronnie Harden and Richard Kress, all of the Pine Bluff Fire Department, Station One. Honorary pallbearers were Jime Brown and Nick Clark.
