James 'Jim' Rogers
James C. "Jim" Rogers, 58, of South Carolina, died Thursday, November 23, 2006.
Born April 23, 1948, in Munich, Germany, he was a son of the late Bill C. and Mary Murphy Rogers. He served as a physician's assistant with the U.S. Medical Services of the United States Air Force in Fort Jacks, and attained the rank of captain.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Rogers; four children, Joseph Christopher Rogers of Birmingham, Ala., Julia Christine Rogers of Montgomery, Ala., Crystal Autumn Pack and Donna Denise Eckman; two brothers, Daniel Rogers of Little Rock and Joseph Michael Rogers of Monticello; three sisters, Nancy Malone of Fort Smith, Pat McKinney of McKinney, Texas, and Kathleen Hale of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Joshua Billings, David Christopher Steele and Ashley Elizabeth Eckman.
Funeral services were held November 25 at Folsom Mickelsen Funeral Home in Piedmont, Ala., with the Rev. Orville Smith officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery.
