Marilyn Jane “Janie” Trantham

Marilyn Jane “Janie” Trantham, 57, of Boydell died on Friday, March 22, 2013, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was a life-long resident of Ashley County, a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Trantham; her parents, Omar Hallman and Agnes Cotton Sheffield; and two brothers, Edward and Lewis Hallman.

She is survived by three brothers, James Hallman, of Monticello, David Hallman, of Greenville, Miss.,and John Sheffield, of Conway; two step-brothers, Danny and Deveron Sheffield, of Hot Springs; two sisters, Peggy Hallman, of Monticello, and Sarah Sheffield, of Dermott; a special niece, Rebecca Hallman, of Boydell; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Cromwell Funeral Home with Bro. Kyle Bryant officiating. Burial followed in Snyder Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charlie Murphy, Colby Dodson, Nicholas, Dodson, Gene Trantham, Richard Lemley, Keith Rossom, Parker Rossom and Brandon Rodriguez.
