Merton Binns

Merton Binns, 56, of Monticello passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. <br /> He was born November 7, 1956, in Monticello.<br /> He was an active member of Teamsters Local #878 in Little Rock for 22 years, where he served as Steward and drove pipeline construction equipment. He was a Baptist. <br /> He was the son of the late James Burwell Binns and Amie Lou Watkins Binns and was also preceded in death by one brother, James Randall Binns.<br /> Survivors include one brother, Dennis Binns (Renee), of Monticello; and one sister, Jamie Lou Wright, of Monticello; nieces, Denise Brantley, Stephanie Binns, Christie Voulters, and Macee Binns; two great-nephews, Jet Wells and Miles Brantley; and two great-nieces, Kinsley Stuart and Tori Brantley.<br /> Graveside memorial service were held at 10 am on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Oakland Cemetery. <br /> An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.stephensondearman.com.
