Mildred White, age 90, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born January 14, 1923, in Ladelle to the late Robert Raybon and Addie Mae Bell Raybon.
She was a housewife and was of the Assembly of God faith.
She was the widow of Wilford Columbus White and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Atteberry; three brothers, Jess B. Raybon, Robert Raybon, Jr. and Fay Raybon; four sisters, Carrie Raybon, Willie Ruth Sherrion, Dorothy Nann Neal and Elizabeth Raybon.
Survivors include one son, William L. “Buddy” Murphy and wife, Lin, of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Levon Raybon, of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren, William Joe Atteberry, Pattie Wiley, Ben Atteberry, Jeffrey Murphy and Jason Murphy and wife, Michele; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Murphy and Easton Murphy.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Harmon Cowart officiating. Burial followed in the 16th Section Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jeffrey Murphy, Jason Murphy, Frank Raybon, Harold Smith, Jay Hilton and Bruce Clemons. Honorary pallbearers were William Joe Atteberry and David Murphy.
