Rogers edges Tucker in Monticello's Interim Mayor's race
The final but unofficial voters' count is complete and former Monticello Mayor Joe Rogers (I) edged out Assistant to the Mayor of Monticello Zack Tucker (D) by a count of 604 to 544 Tuesday during the city's interim mayor runoff election.
According to County Clerk Lyna Gulledge, her office has a window of 10 days to certify the election results and name Rogers the official winner.
