Inez Lindsey attended the Friends and Family Day service at New Beginnings Outreach Church November 8, where Herdicine Ivory is pastor. The word of God was brought by evangelist Shirley Matthews. Bro. Joe Butler and his wife also attended the program, and Bro. Joe sang a solo. Three little Jackson girls did two selections. They sing so well, and it makes you feel so good! They are from Star City. Their mother is Tonya Jackson. You need to hear them.

Inez Lindsey and Joenna York went to McGehee on business Friday evening.

Rev. Rose Ridgell, Alice Shoemaker and Mechelle Smith went to Warren and visited with Fee Fee Jones. They came to the home of Inez and R.V. Lindsey and visited with them. They also ate dinner with the Lindseys.

Verna Sims came by and visited with the Lindseys also.

Inez Lindsey went to The Woods nursing home and visited and said hello to all of the shut-ins.

Rev. Clarence Green's mother passed away. The celebration of her homegoing will be held in Lake Village Saturday. Our prayers and sympathy for the Green family, and to others who have had loved ones pass away.

Verna Sims attended the 75th Diamond Jubilee of the Regular Arkansas Missionary Baptist Convention. Dr. James Thrower is president. It convened with the trustees of Morris Booker Williams Community and Human Development Center in Dermott November 11-13.

Inez Lindsey and Verna Sims attended the "Fiesta/Siesta" at Rose Hill FWB November 21. There was special music and the guest speaker was LaShunda Brooks Jackson. She spoke from the books of Mark, Luke and Matthew. She brought one of the greatest messages that I have ever heard. Everyone enjoyed the word. It was very spiritual. Her mother, Lillian Brooks, and two of her friends, Lynette Scott and Barbara Swift, accompanied her.

Verna Sims attended the Southeast District annual Women's Day program. Faye Jacob was the guest speaker. It was held at First Missionary Baptist Church November 18.

Rev. R.V. and Inez Lindsey went to Warren Sunday and visited with Martha Miller in the Bradley County Medical Center.

Let us pray for the sick and shut-in. I pray everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.
