Thomas Paul Williams
Thomas Paul Williams, 56, of Monticello, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at his home.
Born August 12, 1950, in Atlantic City, N.J., he was a son of Thomas Harry Williams and Delores Wilma Hartman Williams of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was a retired general contractor, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Clarice Ray Williams of Monticello; a son, Tommy Williams of Canton, Ohio, two daughters, Jennifer Bailey and Hannah Williams, both of Pittsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Marty Williams of Tucson, Ariz., and Doug Williams of Ohio; three sisters, Lori Larson of Washington state, Robin Janeszewshi of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and Holly Hand of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Bailey and Eliza Bailey; three stepdaughters, Regina Jennings and husband Ken of Bigelow, and Susie Murphy and husband Gary and Rachelle Ross, all of Monticello; one stepson, Mike Russell of Monticello; eight stepgrandchildren, Nathaniel Adam Murphy, Shana Russell, Ashley Russell, John Murphy, Gary Don Murphy, Crystal Murphy and Gabrielle Mann, all of Monticello, and Kaylynn Nicholson of Bigelow; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Gage Murphy, Gracie Murphy, Zach Summerford and Allie Summerford, all of Monticello.
Funeral services were held December 4 at Oak Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bobby Spencer officiating. Burial was at Green Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were LaWayne Young, Charlie Dumas, Larry Williamson, Monty Ray Barnett, Ronnie Noble and Terry Maloney.
Honorary pallbearers were Barry Hall and Donny Pharr.
