Tommy Johnson, 65, of Monticello, formerly of Crossett, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was an Ashley County native, a small engine repairman, and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Hill Hogue Johnson; his parents, Joseph Daniel Johnson and Lucille Coleman Barnett; his step-mother, Billie Dove Johnson; four brothers: Johnny Taylor & Don, Carl and Billy Johnson; and one sister, Laverne Carter.
He is survived by one brother, James E. Johnson, of Crossett; two sisters, Mary Stevens, of El Dorado, and Lafran Singleton, of Rayville, La.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, at Simms Cemetery with Bro. Kerry Don England officiating and under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
