Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it unto the end - Psalms 111:33.

Mae Cavaness attended church at Gethsemane MBC, where Rev. Loggins is pastor, Sunday morning. We had a beautiful Sunday school lesson entitled "Pursuing Virtue," from I Peter 1:3-15. The lesson was well taught by Sis. Loggins. Rev. Ron Woodard really broke the bread of life to us. His text was taken from Exodus 20:1-6, and his message was entitled "No Other God."

Sunday evening, Mae Cavaness attended the 138th anniversary of Brooks Chapel MBC, where Rev. Curtis Jackson is pastor. Rev. D.J. Buffington and the Morning Star MBC were the guests. The Brooks Chapel and Morning Star choirs sang songs of inspiration, and Rev. Buffington gave a very spiritual sermon taken from I Peter 2:7. His subject was "Jesus, the Most Precious One of All." Sis. Christene Riley gave the welcome. Everyone had a spiritual time.

Happy that Johnny Lee Hardin is out of the hospital and doing much better.

Mae Cavaness and Regina visited Eula Lee Johnson, Eddie Baines and Mattie Stanley in the nursing home.

Mae Cavaness talked by phone with her niece in California. All was well.

Union Singing #3 will convene with Morning Star MBC November 27-29. President Maurice Ashford and Chaplain James Simpson invite everyone to attend.

Hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.
